My name is Seamus Walsh, I am a Hong Kong based writer/director and editor.
This website is a showcase of my work in film thusfar. The site is still under construction but contains a good overview of most of my projects.
I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland but am now based in Hong Kong where I have worked on a number of projects including an award-winning short film and music videos for popular TVB actress and singer Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣).
My most notable work would be "Wing Chun - A documentary" a 35 minute long film, funded by Shui On Land which was filmed on a budget of about 2million HKD in Hong Kong, China and Macau.

All the best,
Wing Chun - A Documentary 2012
"Wing Chun - A Documentary", is a 35 min long documentary I directed in Hong Kong, China and Macau in 2012.
The film was shot on a budget of about 2 million HKD. The project was initiated by Vincent Lo who has studied the art of Wing Chun most of his life and wanted to communicate his feelings that Wing Chun is not just a physical martial art for protecting yourself but can also be used as a philosophical system for how to lead your daily life.
I feel the film communicates the ideas and feelings we wanted to express in an entertaining and cinematic way and has proved to be quite popular on Youtube, currently sitting at 1,000,000+ hits.
LINDA CHUNG (鍾嘉欣) - IF YOU WANT ME / I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOU - Music Videos
Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) is a popular local singer and TVB actress in Hong Kong. I was contracted to direct two videos for songs off her latest album.
The videos have been released on DVD as part of Linda's latest album and are available at Neway Karaoke outlets all over Hong Kong.
SOMEBODY TO LOVE - Short Film
"Somebody To Love" is a short film I wrote, directed and edited in Hong Kong.
The film stars Philip Ng (Bodyguards and Assassins, Naked Soldier), Yennis Cheung-Yan (Shanghai, Hero of City) and James Ha (The Killer, Crime Story).
The film was shot on the RED One camera and won "Best Short Film" at the inaugural YFIFF Belfast Film Festival.
